The Toyota 79 Series dual cab has a reputation as a tough and functional Ute, and Torqit’s 3.5” DPF Back Performance Exhaust has the strength and quality to back it up. Designed for maximising your power and torque, the twin exit 3.5” exhaust for the 79 Series dual cab is one of the most thick and durable mandrel bent systems of its kind in Australia. Tried and tested in the toughest of Australian conditions, it is manufactured from 304 grade, brushed stainless steel and is up to 2mm thick to prevent cracking when traversing rough terrain. The three-bolt laser cut flanges are manufactured from 304 grade steel, and are welded inside and out for extra strength to withstand heavy duty off-roading, touring and towing.
This 79 Series 3.5” exhaust system exits left and right at the rear of the vehicle into 3” tailpipes. The reduced diameter of the tailpipe helps retain definition and depth to the vehicle note, which is further enhanced by a resonator. The twin exit looks more aggressive, while adding a different dynamic to the note when compared to the 79 Series single exit exhaust.
Torqit’s 3.5” dual cab exhaust bolts onto the back of the DPF and complies with all regulations and insurance requirements, so your vehicle warranty will remain intact. As the owner of a vehicle fitted with a DPF, you are probably aware there are few things which will damage a diesel engine faster than excessive Exhaust Gas Temperature’s (EGT’s). The Torqit DPF Back 79 Series Performance Exhaust aims to lower these EGT’s by improving the flow of gases, and increasing engine efficiency and fuel economy.* It is the ideal alternative to deleting your DPF without the legal ramifications.
