The 78 Series Landcruiser is a proven heavy duty 4WD, ideal for towing, long distance touring and off-roading. Renowned for our Landcruiser range, Torqit’s 3.5 inch Turbo Back Performance Exhaust for the Troopy is one of the thickest and most durable mandrel bent systems of its kind. As the first 3.5” system introduced for this model in Australia and the largest diameter available on the market, Torqit’s Troopy exhaust has been designed to maximise power, torque and produce a deep V8 note.
Starting from the turbo back, the 3.5” Troopy exhaust takes a unique path beneath the vehicle with a spectacular piece of the brushed steel exhaust visible under the sidestep. Manufactured from 304 grade stainless steel and up to 2mm thick, the 78 Series exhaust is built for strength to prevent cracking when traversing rough terrain. The three-bolt laser cut flanges are also made from 304 grade steel, and welded inside and out to withstand rugged off-roading and touring.
Torqit’s Troop Carrier exhaust includes high flow catalytic converters to improve the flow of gases, and double braided flex bellows which reduce strain on the system and absorb excess movement and vibrations. The blue titanium dump pipes on our turbo back systems are unique to Torqit, and help disperse heat and lower the Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs). Titanium is a tough, low-corrosion metal with extremely high heat resistance and a long lifespan. By effectively dispersing heat and cooling rapidly, it keeps the engine bay cooler and protects the engine and its components.
The wide diameter and thickness of our 3.5” Troopy exhaust produces the ultimate deep V8 rumble. If you’re looking to increase your vehicle performance while reducing the noise output, we also offer the option of a muffler.
